As a part of the Oracle implementation team, the candidate will be Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security:
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
• Applying patches and upgrades to latest release R12
• Cloning production to test environment
• Fine tuning, Space management, Data security, Schema management, Fault management, Diagnostic assessment of the Oracle Databases
• Identify technical gaps in user requirements and design custom solutions to cater the user requirement
• Technology Stack and Tools support for iAS, Forms, Reports and Discoverer
• Routine maintenance activities, system monitoring and proactive health check on a daily basis
• Manage and Configure Oracle Database RAC environment
• Raising and follow up Service Requests through Oracle Metalink
• Design and Develop backup and recovery procedures using RMAN and other backup tools
• Oracle Apps DBA and Core DBA on Unix base systems
• Experience in Oracle Apps Administration
• Oracle RAC environment
• Knowledge in Data Guard for primary and disaster recover site
• Experience in Backup & Recovery procedures
• Very good knowledge in Networking & troubleshooting
• Experience in Unix System Administration Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux
• Experience in Upgrading Oracle Apps from 11i to R12 and Database to latest release 11g
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Computer Engineer
