Reporting to :Chief Operations Officer, SGM
- Responsible for structuring and customizing Transaction banking (Tb) products and services to provide solutions to customers. Develops new products according to changing customer needs. Does the initial product conceptualization with the front-end sales team, development of related systems and operating procedures, ongoing product / process re-engineering, and marketing assistance where required ; conduct research on new product development, market situation on a continuous basis.
- Participates in units business and strategic plans discussions, including annual planning and budgeting, analysis of customer and product profitability.
- Develops new(Tb) products that are aligned with business objectives and match clients requirements. Develop alternate delivery channels for product delivery.
- Does initial product conceptualization with the front-end sales team, develops related systems and operating procedures, on-going product/process re-engineering.
- Develops and launches Tb products.
- Assist the business teams in marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that controls are built into the product delivery process and adherence to guidelines set by internal/ external regulators.
- Take feedback from front-end teams to ensure customer needs are met through product solutions; provides input for product development, pricing / charges.
- Involves relevant support departments during the product development process to ensure smooth operations from the time of launch.
- Conducts market research on an on going basis understand and identify unfulfilled customer needs and untapped markets.
- Provide guidance and support for legal issues related to product structuring and/or customer / correspondent bank documentation.
- Generates electronic reports in a timely manner at decided intervals to assist clients reconcile their books in line with the collection and payment mechanism.
- Ensure quick resolution to client's queries and problems within mutually agreed upon turnaround time.
- Sets and communications performance objectives for direct reports; evaluate performance and provide feedback.
- Decides products to be offered in the market and pricing of the product.
- Recommends staffing plans, expenditure plans, major business changes and budgets and goals.
- To develop and maintain detailed operational and technical understanding of product, processes and systems in order to act as point of reference within bank.
- To monitor costs against budget highlighting any variance to the department manager.
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant field.
- Should have 12 Years of experience and at least five years in Banking.
