As an experienced Senior Farm Manager you will take responsibility of the Farming Operation to include Project Management, Farm Management, oversee all Engineering, construction and produce Profit and Loss accounts, projections, Key Performance Indicators and business strategies.
·Responsible for managing financial aspects of the farm by controlling expenses and income
·Plans, develops and implements policies, procedures and practices for the day to day operation of the dairy farm.
·Ensures that the dairy complies with the company’s or owner’s standards for farm production, propagation of livestock animals and regulations of regulatory agencies.
·Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with the sanitation standards, and to determine maintenance and repair requirements.
·Authorize requisitions or purchase supplies and equipment such as livestock feeds, disinfectants and sanitation chemicals and replacement of defective equipments
·Secures services of Veterinarian for the treatment of the livestock animals or when cows are calving
·May directly supervise dairy workers on small farms
