- Undertaking emergency and planned maintenance repair works
- Maintaining all equipment, tools and plant in a safe and good condition; liaising with external suppliers and services where necessary.
- Liaising with the Store Manager when preparing the maintenance and capital expenditure work plans
- Managing all contractors on site, ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met, monitoring their performance and inspect completed work.
- Implementing routine inspections of the site including daily maintenance checks.
- Maintaining computerized record of all regular checks undertaken and hard copies signed by the Store Manager.
- Responsible for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) throughout the premises
- Undertaking and documenting a timely risk assessment of the whole Marks and Spencer site.
- Inspecting outside areas for defects and potential hazards
You will be required to possess a good experience of working within a customer facing environment along with exceptional administration skills. In addition to this you must possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and influencing skills
- Minimum 5 years experience of facilities management of multiple site locations
- Relevant Health and Safety Qualification
- Excellent IT literacy skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point
- Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
