Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering (12th std plus 3 - 4 years of degree) with 5 years of relevant experience.
Linguistic Abilities: English and Arabic is a must.
Certification and Licensure: Valid Kuwait Driving License
An Architect creates design concepts that meet the requirements of end users and provide a facility which is sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing. His responsibilities includes:
1. Prepare proposals and feasibility reports for new projects and for remodeling/refurbishment of existing projects as per compliance with company policies and standards set by regulatory authorities such as Municipality, Ministries, and Fire Brigade etc.
2. Work closely with end users to make sure that projected designs match their needs, and are functional, safe and economical and advise end users on functional and spatial requirements of structure.
3. Produce detailed working documents with drawings and specifications by using IT tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera etc., integrate engineering element into unified design and Plan layout of project.
4. Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with schedule of completion and as per drawings and specification of the project.
5. Ensure effective communication and coordination with the technical team to avoid delay in project completion.
6. Keep abreast of technological developments and regulations of regulatory authorities.
