Founded in 1996, Al Ruya is a bilingual Islamic school (Arabic/English) following an American curriculum (PreK-12). The school is non-profit, accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and accepts students of all nationalities, according to placement tests. At the same time, students will develop respect, awareness and tolerance towards other cultures.In order to improve the standard of English, RBS is introducing a Homeroom system, to begin in September 2014. We welcome applications from enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced homeroom teachers and teaching couples.

Grades 1-2: females only
Grades 3-5: females and males
Muslim
Bachelor degree from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ (must have relevant majorin English, TESOL or education)
Teaching Certificate/License/Diploma of Education (valid for teaching elementary homeroom/English in government schools in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ)
Qualified to teach elementary Homeroom English, Math, Science, Health
2 years of full time teaching experience (in school)
Fluent English speaker
CELTA is an advantage
