The Post
A well qualified and experienced specialist teacher is required to teach Science in Years 5 to 8. The post would suit someone with experience of teaching Science in Key Stages 2 & 3 or someone newly qualified with excellent references. This is a particularly exciting time to join the the school as a Science teacher as
in June 2016 we shall embark upon an ambitious building project incorporating three state of the art science labs. This new building is scheduled to open in September 2017 and the school’s Science teachers would have significant input into design specifications. The ideal candidate would also be able to offer ICT as a second subject and be willing to teach children in both the PrePrep
and Prep. Appropriate support and direction would be provided in this area by the ICT Coordinator. Whilst the focus for the role is Science, the precise
balance of the timetable would very much depend upon the individual appointed as, like all good schools, we retain a degree of flexibility in how we manage and deploy our manpower and expertise.
