Solutions Architect – Agility


JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for Oracle ERP projects, and accordingly conduct the technical design and implementation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
Receive project plan and requirements of the new Oracle ERP projects, and accordingly conduct the technical design and implementation.
Develop the AS-IS and the business process.
Design the database tables of the application to maintain a smooth flow of the application upon implementation.
Functional
Lead a functional/technical team implementing Oracle Applications Release 12.1.3 or higher
Gather requirements, design the future state solution and development objects related to the process scope, as well as support testing and post implementation.
Assist stakeholders in making key business decisions and making recommendations for process improvements, efficiencies, etc.
Ensure that the team provides high quality deliverables in terms of technical liability and meeting the expected requirements.
Assist the team in all technical related issues by resolving all corrections/complaints received speedily and efficiently and take steps to prevent recurrence.
Ensure that all team members are adequately trained on systems and procedures in order to achieve performance targets.
Support Oracle Financials users.
Open TAR’s with Oracle support.
Others
Ensure all Company and Department policies and procedures are followed.
Follow IT standards & defined processes and policies for workflow using a systematic approach, to complete assigned tasks.
Manage several projects concurrently.
Implement and act in accordance with the organization’s information security policies.
Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
Report security (or potential) risks to the organization at the first instance.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in the IT field, advanced degree highly preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 8+ years of functional experience with Oracle E-Business Suite version 11.5.10 or 12.1.3 or higher.
Experience in logistics industry a plus.
Implementation experience of multiple EBS life cycles
Specific Skills
Experience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementations include the following modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, eBTax, Advanced collection, iexpense)
Strong analytical skills.
Proven ability to work well under pressure
Understanding of the business is mandatory
Strong executive presence and ability to interact with senior levels
Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
MUST be willing to travel extensively, up to 100%
A strong track record of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena
Excellent customer interface skills and the ability to effectively communicate with business analysts and end users as well as off-shore team members.
Language Skills
Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and written English skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.
