Key Accountabilities
# The analyst is expected to perform extracting, transforming and inputting data sets from various sources
# Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
# Creating predictive models; coding methods for monitoring models; communicating findings to staff
# Supporting account management and operations and translating nontechnical questions into quantifiable tasks.
# In collaboration with others, develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department
functions
# In collaboration with others, interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
# Monitor data dictionary statistics
# Analyze reports of data duplicates or other errors to provide ongoing appropriate inter-departmental communication
and monthly or daily data reports
# Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data
# Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
# Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results
# Create and present quality dashboards
Must Have:
# Fluent in English
# Bachelor Degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science
# 2-4 years of hands-on experience on SAS (designing & coding)
# Hands on experience of designing and developing data cubes. Experience on Hyperion / Business Objects is essential
# Exposure to data modeling, SAS, MATLAB, SPSS
# Ability to influence people on different levels and to build a strong working relationship with peers outside of the
department - The role requires close cooperation with the various functions within IT and delivery team
# Proven track record of delivering business value
# Proven project/ program management skills and experience
# Proficient in MS Excel (Numerical analysis) and MS Power Point
# Strong Internet and Field based Research Skills
# Strong desire for innovation, R&D and keen business sense
# Self-starter, entrepreneurial outlook and highly motivated
