The IT & OPEX manager would be armed with deep business knowledge and a long term vision will drive large or complex
business critical processes / solution opportunities for the group, by leading and managing an IT & OPEX team. The
candidate’s approach will not just be consultative in nature but include delivery/implementation of the solution too; he/she will
provide in-depth solutions that will be based on specific customers and business needs.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the IT & OPEX team towards:
# Building a strong customer relationship with executive stakeholders, probing for business pains and needs, prioritizing
the opportunities by identifying the high value initiatives, proposing solutions, becoming the go to person the customer seeks
out when new business initiatives evolve, and ensuring customer satisfaction
# Working closely with peer IT functions like projects, solutions development, operation and support, develop and deliver solutions
# Identifying system integrators and independent software vendors which can add value to attain the goals
# Responsible for achieving business units’ operational excellence (OPEX) saving targets
# Lead the execution of OPEX initiatives and programs to build an OPEX culture and mind-set
# Identify and lead OPEX projects to drive business improvements across the company such as: Improve quality,
enhance revenue and profitability, reduce cycle time and cost and boost customer satisfaction
# Train employees in process improvement methodologies to increase awareness, applications and practice across the
company
# Coach and mentor Black Belt, Green Belt, Yellow Belt and White Belt candidates
# Provide regular project updates to management and project teams
# Talent management, skill development and performance management of team
Skill, Knowledge and Experience Required
Must Have:
# Fluent in English
# Master Degree in Business Management
# 4-6 years minimum experience in business and technology solution consulting, customer management and connecting
with senior business decision makers
# Ability to influence people on different levels and to build a strong working relationship with peers outside of the
department - The role requires close cooperation with the various functions within IT and delivery team
# Proven track record of delivering business value
# Proven project/ program management skills and experience
# Proficient in MS Excel (Numerical analysis) and MS Power Point
# Strong Internet and Field based Research Skills
# Strong desire for innovation, R&D and keen business sense
# Self-starter, entrepreneurial outlook and highly motivated
