Required Supervisor - KPMG Advisory W.L.L in Kuwait

KPMG Advisory W.L.L. is looking to recruit qualified Internal Audit professionals to be part of our Internal Audit division that carries out internal audits, internal controls assessment, investigations, management audits, etc. for international organizations.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree / M Com or equivalent qualifications in Accounting and Auditing Certification:
• CA/ CPA/ CIA/ ACCA (Highly desirable)

Experience:

• 4-6 years
• In depth understanding and drive to conduct risk based internal audits for clients
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors
• Ability to write reports independently with high standard of English and Arabic
   

Responsibilities: Responsibilities should include planning and execution of internal audit assignments for our clients in various industrial sectors. Successful candidates should be able to:

• Must have understanding of the key topics around risk, compliance, governance, financial and business performance
• Must have sound knowledge of business processes, risk and controls including regulatory requirements and accounting issues to provide value added services and recommendations to clients
• Ability to conduct risk based internal audit engagements independently and supervise and train junior staff on the job including planning, execution and reporting
• Should be responsible for his / her work and the work of team members
• Should be able to independently manage multiple engagements at a given time.
• Should clearly demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and testing internal controls and in applying Audit skills.
• Will be responsible to review Work-papers prepared by Audit staff, ensuring compliance with KPMG internal audit methodology
• Should have sound knowledge of The IIA Standards.
• Should be able to analyze operational and management processes and system controls’ effectiveness and efficiency in view to improve them and propose value-added recommendations.
