Required Supervisor Audit - KPMG Safi Al-Mutawa And Partners in Kuwait

KPMG Safi Al-Mutawa & Partners, Kuwait is looking to recruit qualified Audit professionals to be part of our External Audit division that assist in carrying out the audit process for medium/large clients independently. This position will assist the audit managers in mentoring and reviewing day-to-day activities related to the process and providing guidance to junior team members.
Educational Qualification:

• Graduate degree in Accounting or related field

Certification:

• CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA

Experience:

• 4-6 years
• Big4 experience desirable
• Bilingual candidates preferred
• Good Knowledge of IFRS
• Demonstrating supervisory and leading skills 

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include planning and execution of audit assignments for our clients in various sectors. Successful candidates should be able to perform the following independently:

• Should be able to finalize the audit plan for the assigned engagements and assigning workloads for the engagement team
• Should be able to carry out numbers of engagements simultaneously and ensure deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines
• Should be responsible for the major components of assigned engagements field work and managing work within budgeted hours
• Should be able to manage all the direct communication and all meetings with the clients
• Should be able to assess the sufficiency and appropriateness of evidence and conclusions reached on an audit by reviewing the working papers of the engagement team and evaluate all issues raised with the Manager/Partner
• Should communicate problems in complying with audit instructions, or any contentious issues identified, to the manager immediately and  identifying the possible solutions
• Should be able to review the process of testing the samples, reviewing the law and testing internal rules and practices for reasonableness
• Should be responsible to review Work-papers prepared by Engagements’ teams, ensuring compliance with KPMG audit methodology
• Should be able to put a proper draft audit for the manager review then submit it to the client
• Develop and motivate all junior staff and provide them with counseling and guidance
• Communicate any opportunity of  potential clients to the Managers
