Required Associate - KPMG Advisory W.L.L in Kuwaiy

KPMG Advisory W.L.L. is looking to recruit qualified Internal Audit professionals to be part of our Internal Audit division that carries out internal audits, internal controls assessment, investigations, management audits, etc. for international organizations.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree/
• M Com or equivalent qualifications in Accounting and Auditing

Certification:

• CA/ CPA/ CIA/ ACCA (Desirable)

Experience:

• 1-3 years
• Big 4 experience desirable
• Bilingual candidates preferred
• Knowledge of risk based internal audits and the drive to conduct risk based internal audits for clients
• Good report writing skills (both English and Arabic)

Responsibilities: Responsibilities should include planning and execution of internal audit assignments for our clients in various industrial sectors. Successful candidates should be able to:

• Carry out audit assignments as assigned by the Audit In Charge;
  Complete the assignment allocated within the budgeted time;
  Keep track of the time spent on each assignment and bringing any delays to the notice of the Audit In Charge in a timely manner;
• Perform risk assessments on business processes and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls in place to mitigate those risks;
• Demonstrates an understanding of business processes, risks and controls, including regulatory requirements and related accounting issues, and helping clients implement appropriate processes and systems for governance and control purposes.
• Document the audit program and get it approved by the Audit in charge/ Manager;
• Carry out the fieldwork in accordance with the audit program;
• Document the findings and discuss the findings with the appropriate client personnel;
• Prepare the draft report and handover the project file complete in all respects to the Audit In Charge for review
