Supply Chain Coordinator - ABB Group

Our ideal candidate should have:
Good skills in project execution with respect to procurement and supply chain activities
Good communication skills and execution. Good understanding of intercultural sensitivity in a complex organization.
Good knowledge of commodity / business relevant supply markets supporting regional / multi-business organization.
Superior negotiation skills in a multicultural and challenging global business environment
Knowledge of ERP preferably SAP MM Module is desired. Experience with creation of Purchase Orders, Contracts and execution of the same. Commercial knowledge involving Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, contractual terms and conditions, Insurance is desired. Knowledge of Freight and Logistics, awareness of customs clearance procedures is desired
8-10 years in a Procurement position in a multicultural, EPC environment
University degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering required. Good technical knowledge of electrical substation equipment and systems required

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Global contract management and negotiation; asses global markets; implement targets/standards/processes
Implements standards on health and safety and on business ethics within the area of responsibility
Demonstrates collaborative problem solving across disciplines within the area of responsibility. Must be able to work under severe time constraint situations
Transactional procurement activities like, P.O. / Contract creation, Follow up for execution of POs and Contracts placed, Close out of Purchase orders and contracts
Implements SCM standards, tools and processes for business continuity in a global business or in a region
