Administrative Assistant Contract Basis - GUST- Gulf University for Science / Technology

• Experience in Administrative capacity
• Proficient in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, among others.
• Excellent preparing business correspondences.
• Excellent Communication skills ( Arabic, English )
• Provide administrative assistance to office as required or as requested including correspondences, typing, and taking telephone messages.
• Operate standard office machines, including personal computer. Make appointments, coordinate meetings, arrange travel and lodging. Organize and maintain important files and general office files.
• Take minutes at meetings conducted by the Department Head as required and answer correspondence. Receive and distribute incoming mail, phone calls, and appointment requests.
• Assure necessary confidentiality of information.
• Compose routine letters, draft forms, compile factual reports, and conduct departmental research on best practices, which require exercising individual judgment and originality.
• Work with purchasing and facilities units in the acquisition and/or coordination of divisional supplies, equipment, materials and projects.
• Performs other related duties such as keeping inventory of stationary stock, re-ordering as necessary and supplying division employees upon request.
• Assists new staff hires by helping them with orientation and fulfilling their office needs.
