The Quantity Surveyor is responsible in providing cost control and project cost forecasting in support of the Brand opening / renovation plans of Kout Food Group and manage internal and external processes contributing to successful delivery of the development plan.
• Liaison with internal teams to ensure delivery of completed project designs.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities for new openings and renovation projects.
• Provides assistance and professional input to the project tendering process to ensure best value.
• Management of appointed contractors.
• Production of progress reports and updates for business stakeholders.
• Verifying contractor and supplier certificates / invoices and managing project budget.
• Providing cost control during project delivery phases.
• Ensuring store inventory is procured through liaison with purchasing team.
• Assisting with the identification and sourcing of suppliers.
• Value engineering project specifications.
• Financial analysis of project costs to produce benchmarks for all brands.
• Dealing with contractors claims and building contract disputes.
• Identify best value procurement routes for successful project delivery.
• Align franchisor requirements for design with site specific considerations.
