Experience:
2 years or more as a Assistant Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a full-service restaurant concept
The ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment
Good organizational skills and an effective communicator
Has the ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
Responsibilities:
•Assigns responsibility to subordinates and check their performance, update & maintain the Employee notice board and check all Employees are on duty as per schedule. Conduct daily staff uniform inspection and conduct shift briefings in the absence of the Manager. Assist the Manager in checking Employees out at the end of the shift.
•Ensure restaurant is properly set up & ready prior to the opening. Ensure guests are always welcomed in a warm & friendly manner to establish & maintain good customer relations. In addition, supervise table reservations & effectively controls the flow of guests in the restaurant to ensure maximum turnover and conduct table visits in absence of Manager.
•Liaise with kitchen on daily operations to ensure the food quality is up to the specified standards.
•Ensure implementation of health & safety, food hygiene & local legislation at all times of operation.
•Ensure all company policies & procedures are adhered to.
