A shared resource to provide branding, marketing, and communication support to Agility subsidiary companies. Each company has its own brand identity, and is in various stages of growth. Marketing and communication support will vary widely – everything from managing big picture topics like rebranding, building marketing collaterals and a new website for the first time, to ongoing support for more mature marketing organizations. Most of the companies in Agility’s portfolio are B2B businesses, but some will require a consumer marketing focus. A successful candidate will have deep knowledge of marketing and communications, but above all, be both flexible and strategic – able to provide strategic advice to growing organizations on their brand, willing to roll up his or her sleeves to get work done, and able to manage complex projects and multiple agencies/suppliers. This will be a challenging role, so a “can do” attitude and an ability to provide high-quality work independently and without a lot of oversight is key.
Key Result Areas:
Manage the rebranding process of a $300 million business, including a new website, collateral, advertising campaign, and customer outreach program.
Formulate marketing and communication strategy for a $600 million business operating primarily in emerging markets.
Support product and facility launches by helping to articulate value proposition, and designing online, print, and in-person outreach campaigns
Boost thought leadership opportunities for CEOs of subsidiary businesses, working closely with Agility PR agencies and corporate communication teams
Boost online presence through digital marketing efforts and social media engagement
Specific Skills & qualifications:
Native-level fluency in both English and Arabic. Will consider English-only speakers, but we have a strong preference for a bilingual candidate.
10+ years working in marketing and communications, with at least four years of management experience
Creativity, visual-thinking, and an ability to cut through the “noise” to get to the point is critical
Understands the online world and social media space, is excited by its potential
Strong writing skills are a must. Writing samples and assessment will be required.
Collaborative team player; but able to work independently and produce high-quality work without a lot of oversight
