• Provide administrative assistance to the VP Office as required including correspondences, typing, and taking telephone messages.
• Assist in the day to day operation of the VP Office.
• Assist in obtaining vital from various resources.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Operate standard office machines, including personal computer. Make appointments, coordinate meetings, arrange travel and lodging. Organize
and maintain general office files.
• Take minutes at meetings as required and answer correspondence.
• Receive and distribute incoming mail.
• Assure necessary confidentiality of information.
• Compose routine letters, draft forms, compile factual reports which require exercising individual judgment and originality.
• Work with purchasing unit in the acquisition of textbooks, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain an effective relation with various departments within the university
• Proficient in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, among others.
• Excellent preparing business correspondences.
• Excellent in the English language. Knowledge in Arabic (spoken or written) is an advantage for non-Arab candidates.
