The holder of this position will be responsible for design, code, test, debug and documentation of applications, preferable in telecom VAS domain. The required candidate will:
• Be accountable for the development of complex applications and/or modifying/maintaining complex existing applications
• Engage in analysis, design and review of software including in-house developed code and any 3rd party technology vendors
• Follow programming standards with ability to handle projects independently; capable of preparing technical reporting and documentations
• Gather and analyze requirements, produce technical designs, develop applications, conduct software testing, implement software solution in live environment and fix bugs
• On occasion will act as project leader with the responsibilities of coordinating a small project team
• Work alone or in a team, be involved in the creation of program specifications, users meetings, project meetings, and all design aspects of program, testing and implementation
• Hard working and self-motivated, responding to fast-paced environment and willing to take responsibility for timely delivery
The candidate must be an outstanding web and desktop application developer, responsible for developing Value added services applications with the following skills:
• B.Sc. Computer Sciences / Computer Engineering / Software Development or an equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application design, code and debug
• Microsoft Certified Professional Developer certification and any other related certification is an added value
• Expert in Visual Studio .NET 2008/2010
• Practical experience in C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Windows Forms, Web Services, ADO.NET, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML-5, CSS, XML
• Expert in MS SQL Server 2008 (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Jobs) and database optimization
• In depth knowledge of .NET Framework 3.0 and 4.0
• Experience in development of multi-tier and multi-threading web and windows based applications
• Exposure to Value Added Services applications
• Proficient in English language (verbal and written), Arabic language would be an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills and friendly temperament
