Required System Administrator - Agility Logistics

Job Purpose: 
Responsible for configuration, implementation and maintenance of various systems, servers and applications managed by the IT Infrastructure. 

Specific Skills:
    Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
     Knowledge in LAN/WAN technology and configuration.
    General knowledge of several programming languages for scripting or automation of routine tasks.
    Good understanding of technologies like Active Directory, Exchange, ISA, Citrix, IBM Blades, NETAPP Storage.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Able to communicate technical issues and provide resolution to end users and peers.
    This is a 24/7 global data centre operation that requires rotating shifts.
     Must hold valid passport; ready to travel when required.

Education / Experience:
    Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent.
    MCITP Servers Administrator.
    MCSA (Server Infrastructure, Private Cloud, Messaging, Communication, SharePoint)
    ITIL Certified.
    Minimum 3 years of system experience in similar background.

Key responsibilities:
    Installation and setup of all servers, components and peripherals globally and configuration of systems OS and MS applications.
    Monitor, plan and coordinate operating system updates, patches and configuration changes.
    Perform routine audits of systems and OS.
    Organize and maintain inventory of all hardware and software resources.
    Act as liaison between technical support sources and end users to resolve issues. Work in a team environment and responsible for forwarding support requests to other team members as well as resolving issues independently.
    Provide level 1/2 support; diagnose and troubleshoot system errors.
    Provide response and support for all queries for internal and external customers.
    Implement and act in accordance with the organization’s information security policies.
    Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
    Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization.
