The Regional Organization for the Protection of the Marine
Environment (ROPME) has vacancy for a marine chemist/chemical
oceanographer. The candidate should have the following qualifications:
1) Ph.D or at least M.Sc. degree in chemistry of marine contaminants or chemical oceanography from an accredited university with minimum of three years experience for the Ph.D and five years for the M.Sc.
2) Knowledge of the chemical characteristics of the ROPME Sea Area or a similar marine environment.
3) First hand experience in conducting research and project management.
4) Excellent command of the English language.
