Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering – Kuwait
The infrastructure construction market in Kuwait is currently booming with an expected project sign off of over $50 billion USD in 2016 alone.
My client is a leading international main contractor who have been in the region for many years and are well placed to take advantage of this boom. Currently having 6 project in excess of $200 million USD they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a quantity surveyor.
The role will be working closely alongside a senior level commercial manager where you will learn and develop at a fast rate.
My client is looking for a quantity surveyor to take responsibility for 2 of the infrastructure projects currently in the early stages.
To be of requisite caliber my client is looking for someone with the following skills and attributes;
Relevant degree in quantity surveying, construction or engineering (essential for visa processing)
Proven track record working with leading main contractors
Experience with civil engineering infrastructure projects, ideally in the highways construction sector
Fluent English
In return my client is offering a permanent contract where you will get extensive exposure to all aspects of the commercial process. You could very quickly move from quantity surveyor to commercially managing multiple large projects.
My client is offering a basic salary of $6k USD + full package.
