Bloomingdale’s Kuwait will fulfill the New York City store’s promise of “like no other store in the world” with offerings such as leading luxury brand experiences, and seamless digital and social media integration. This will enhance the in-store experience, deliver extraordinary personalised services with curated product selection to create an authentic welcome and delight experience for our customers.
Opening in February 2017, the three-level apparel, beauty and accessories store, spanning over 93,000 square feet will anchor the 360 Mall, Kuwait’s luxury retail destination.
Interviewing for our exciting Bloomingdale’s Kuwait career opportunities will take place between March and August 2016. Bloomingdale’s Kuwait Beauty Department will offer many of the world’s favorite and most prestigious brands across make up, skincare, hair care and perfumery. The Team of Beauty Specialists can tailor beauty needs with unique one-on-one consultations across the large variety of brands like Guerlain, La Prairie, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Kiehls and many Niche Fragrances brands such as The Fragrance Kitchen, Frederic Malle, Caron, Bond. No. 9, Penhaligon’s and Diptyque.
We are looking for efficient Stockroom Assistants who will manage the overall stocks management of Bloomingdale’s Beauty Department.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate for the Stockroom Assistant in our Bloomingdale’s Kuwait Beauty Department will have a great opportunity of working with luxury brands of perfumes and fragrances. He will be working with a dynamic Beauty Team whose common goal is to deliver excellent customer service and driving the sales of the store.
As a Stockroom Assistant you will be handling the back of house operation. You would be handling the stocks from the time of delivery until the arrangement of goods that is easily accessible at all times. You would need to ensure that the correct barcode and tags are in place for each item and that stock replenishment and availability are maintained from stockroom to the shop floor. Regular stock checks has to be conducted as per statutory requirement of audit.
The goods should be stored as per brand guidelines and are organized in an efficient manner. To avoid accidents, the Stockroom Assistant would need to ensure that all housekeeping, safety, security and healthcare measures are followed inside the store.
Personal Specification
The successful candidate for Stockroom Assistant should have at least 1 year of experience in stockroom management preferably in a retail environment. You should be confident in working within a diverse team and be able to communicate effectively with senior management when required.
Receiving high volume of deliveries, the Stockroom Assistant should operate efficiently with high levels of pressure and can work attentively on details. You should display values of integrity and honesty towards the tasks and responsibilities given to them.
