Job Details:
the candidate must be able to
1. Forecast product needs; to include all materials required to make the product sellable
2. Develop new forecasting methods in partnership with sales team
3. Manage third party manufacturer to meet timing requirements for product
4. Partner with internal business owners to identify needs for goods and services
5. Identify multiple suppliers/service providers
6. Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
7. Negotiate contracts with expectation of long‐term partnership
8. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
9. Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.
10. Manage relationships with suppliers/service providers
11. Participate in other activities with operations team to manage the business
12. Monitoring of KPI’s relating to all purchase performance
13. Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
14. Proactive management in optimizing Supply Chain and minimizing risk
15. Reports to the MD
Education and experience
Minimum one year experience in same field
Bachelor degree
Fluent written and spoken English
Arab nationality is preferred
