Location Noida
Total Exp - 7+ Years General IT experience & 2+ Years in a similar role
Qualification: Tertiary qualifications in a Business / Systems / Other Management related discipline would be well regarded. 



JOB Description: Change & Configuration Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
* Role is the focal point for managing day to day Changes that occur within the IBM Strategic Outsourcing environment. The objective of this role is to ensure that all changes follow IBM standards and procedures, and all exceptions and issues with configuration are managed to ensure that customer service levels and configuration management targets are met. 
* Other duties as directed by Service Support Management.
* Hands on Experience on ISM Tools would be an added advantage.. Knowledge on designing data module for CMDB
* Knowledge and experience on Discovery Process
* Understanding ITIL Process of Change & Config management.

Daily Activities
* Ensure Change process is rolled out as required in the selected accounts as per the defined process (as required as per the contract)
* Ensure Configuration process is rolled out as required in the selected accounts as per the defined process (as required as per the contract)
* Act as a focal point for managing day to day Changes & configuration changes in the IBM environment. 
* Ensure Incident and Change records are correctly linked to the CIs.
* Ensure unknown CIs are only for new assets. There should be no unknown CI for Incidents and Changes for existing assets
* Drive the Reconciliation & Discovery for Configuration & implement milestones on timely basis
* Conduct weekly Audit of RFC's & Incidents having CI Relationship & provide report to Support Leads & Management for those discrepancies
* Ensure SLA/SLO targets are met for RFC's & Incidents
* Educate SME's & key stakeholders by providing Change / configuration management process trainings
* Educate SMEs on the significance of CI Relationship for RFC & setup expectations with stakeholders to increase the CI Relationship for RFC's
* Ensure efficient & timely follow-up with stakeholders for timely deliveries on configured management activities
* Ensure the required management reports go out on time
* Work towards implementation of at-least 2 process improvement per Annum in Change / Configuration Management Area
* Run trainings in the account for all competencies on a monthly / quarterly / need basis
* Highlight problems and issues requiring escalation, change trends and communicate to client & management on need basis.
* Hands on Experience on ISM tool like Remedy / Maximo would be added advantage.
* . Knowledge on designing data module for CMDB
* Knowledge and experience on Discovery Process
* Understanding ITIL Process 

Required Skills
* Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal.
* Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emphasis on the attention to detail
* Experience in Mainframe, Midrange, and/or Network operations preferred but not necessary
* Ability to learn how to use Change Management tools 
* Web / Internet / Intranet user knowledge
* Strong management and leadership skills
* Ability to take the initiative, to pursue and investigate the underlying issues within complex problems
* Excellent phone manner
* Ability to work under pressure and with conflicting priorities
* Assertiveness, negotiation, and facilitation skills
* Strong analysis and problem determination skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to continually deliver and a high regard for quality service
* An understanding of the client functions and requirements and the potential impact that operational issues could have on business operations 
* A good knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
* Ability to initiate self-education to improve skill levels
* Understand and follow Change Management procedures
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* In-depth understanding from a business perspective of information technology based systems and processes
* Ability to plan and drive tasks to completion
* Knowledge of the IGS organisation and its management structure
