Honeywell’s Prepositioning and Marine Corps Logistics Services (P&MCLS) program is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy.
We are seeking a Program Manager position for our Kuwait location.
Position Responsibilities
Provide overall direction and management support to the Program Manager, HTSI for personnel performing varied logistics activities required to support the Marine Expeditionary Unit Augmentation Program (MAP) in Kuwait.
Provide oversight and guidance for the core activities within the program such as supply chain management, maintenance operations, maintenance management and services support comprised of administration, safety, facilities, and information technology. Act as the interface with the Kuwait sponsor on personnel issues, leased apartments, vehicles and purchased services.
Through commodity management, coordinate program requirements and oversight of the activities of personnel performing logistics support functions to obtain optimal use of resources, using the likes of “lean” principles and techniques wherever applicable. Review and analyze expenditures, financial, and operations reporting to determine requirements and make recommendations to program management to improve overall efficiency.
Ensure all deliverables and reports are in compliance with specification and time schedules. Performs administrative management tasks and prepares related management reports. Assists in the formulation of policies and procedures and ensures compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and Government regulations.
Provide technical guidance/assistance and makes decisions where written guidelines are not available. Manages the process of hiring new employees, ensuring they are integrated with appropriate support. Manage direct reports, ensuring compliance with performance objectives and goals.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with a major study in logistics or related field.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credit, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
Ten (10) years of progressive work experience in a logistics operations support environment;
Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
U.S. Citizen.
Must possess valid State Driver’s License.
Must be a US Citizen. Proof required.
Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
Your continued employment is contingent upon your being approved for deployment by the United States Marine Corps, in accordance with their policies and regulations.
Must be able to obtain a finding of “No Record Found” on the FBI Background Investigation.
Additional Qualifications:
In-depth working knowledge of automated information systems supporting supply, maintenance, and logistics activities.
In-depth working knowledge of logistics operations.
Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules.
Completed advanced USMC/military logistics course or civilian equivalent.
Ability to operate personal computers, multimedia data entry, and scanning and retrieval systems functions.
Solid understanding of the organization’s logistics functions and the activities involved in providing logistical support.
Additional Information:
In addition to meeting Honeywell employment requirements, the United States Marine Corps has minimal standards of fitness for deployment. Your continued employment is contingent upon your being approved for deployment by the United States Marine Corps, in accordance with their policies and regulations.
Most work will be performed in extreme temperatures, employees must be willing and able to work under these conditions as determined by a required physical examination.
