Bloomingdale’s Kuwait will fulfill the New York City store’s promise of “like no other store in the world” with offerings such as leading luxury brand experiences, and seamless digital and social media integration. This will enhance the in-store experience, deliver extraordinary personalised services with curated product selection to create an authentic welcome and delight experience for our customers.
Opening in February 2017, the three-level apparel, beauty and accessories store, spanning over 93,000 square feet will anchor the 360 Mall, Kuwait’s luxury retail destination.

Job Specification
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Operations Executive with Strong operational knowledge to help support the Department Store Bloomingdale’s in Kuwait and to be the point of contact for the Retail store businesses to ensure efficient management of facilities and in store projects.
The Operations Executive will be responsible for maintaining up to date records of all IT Helpdesk Logs and monitor performance against Service Level Agreements, records of all FOHD Logs and monitor performance against Service Level Agreements, escalating concerns to Operations Manager as appropriate.
The Operations Executive will need to analyse the helpdesk logs, identify the trends and propose resolutions of the issues.
The person will also need to carry out an annual spot check store inspection across the retail business to ensure all locations are being maintained to the expected standard.
In case of any small projects, fixtures and upgrades in the store the Operations Executive will need to support with the completion. Also, support in store closures following process and ensuring handover is executed in a timely manner.
For any Mall Management Related matters like mall permits the Operations Executive will be the point of contact.
The person will need to ensure that as per the contract terms all external contracts are fulfilled and renewed in a timely manner to reduce risk of liabilities.
The role also involves supporting the Store team by resolving any day to day operational concerns raised also support in equipment breakdown items and replacing them.
The Operations Executive is in charge of managing budgets and ensuring that costs are approved in line with the budget as well as follow up with the finance for payments to be made to various contractors and suppliers.
The operations Executive also supports with the shipping or transferring of items across GCC and manage the asset inventory list of items stored in the ware house.
Experience
We need someone with 3 to 5 years retail store operational support experience.
Qualifications
The candidate needs to be a Graduate in any field.
