Bloomingdale’s Kuwait will fulfill the New York City store’s promise of “like no other store in the world” with offerings such as leading luxury brand experiences, and seamless digital and social media integration. This will enhance the in-store experience, deliver extraordinary personalised services with curated product selection to create an authentic welcome and delight experience for our customers.
Opening in February 2017, the three-level apparel, beauty and accessories store, spanning over 93,000 square feet will anchor the 360 Mall, Kuwait’s luxury retail destination.
Interviewing for our exciting Bloomingdale’s Kuwait career opportunities will take place between March and August 2016. Job Specification
We are go seeking for an experienced and confident Deputy Loss Prevention Manager to join our strong and knowledgeable Loss Prevention team for our new Department Store Bloomingdale’s in Kuwait to implement and drive suitable loss prevention policies and systems.
he Deputy Loss Prevention Manager main responsibility will be implementing appropriate Loss Prevention policy and strategies and ensuring that these are effectively utilised to mitigate security and operational risks. Also maintaining appropriate Loss Prevention procedures to limit all elements of shrinkage (resulting from theft, fraud, wastage, damage and process failure) within agreed targets.
The Deputy Loss Prevention manger will need to regularly conduct Loss Prevention awareness programs and facilitate approved training sessions (Inductions as well as additional training modules) for all store based management and staff to improve their effectiveness in reducing loss.
As part of the role the Deputy Loss Prevention Manager will also need to contribute to the evaluation and effectiveness of surveillance systems, security equipment and service providers and ensure regular Loss Prevention and security reviews are conducted for compliance with all company policies and procedures related to Loss Prevention.
The person will need to review the Loss Prevention System exception reports, investigate cases and provide the conclusion and findings. All incidents and accidents relating to HSE and / or potential and real losses arising from theft, fraud, wastage, damage and process failure are promptly reported, recorded, escalated and investigated. Needs to ensure the completion of annual risk assessments for all identified areas using the Loss Prevention Risk Assessment framework and prepare and maintain periodic reports and record evidence and files in a complete and orderly manner with relevant recommendations.
Experience
We need someone with 5 to 7 years work experience in a large and diverse retail organization with latter 2 -3 years in a responsible Loss Prevention, asset protection and Security management position.
Qualifications
The candidate must be a graduate and a ccertification in loss prevention & security management from a reputed institute.
